At 911 Depot we can custom make any size or shape chevron for your vehicles. Our chevrons are made of Reflexite Daybright material which is up to 10 times brighter than many other materials. We can also incorporate custom lettering and logos. There are many misconceptions about the new rules for chevron decaling. Here are the requirements for the new NFPA 1901 standards concerning decaling. click here At least 50% of the rear vertical surfaces of the vehicle shall be equipped with a minimum of 6 inch wide alternating yellow and red chevron retro reflective striping sloping downward and away from the center line of the vehicle at an angle of 45 degrees. |

We can also do the insides of doors with chevron patterns, logos and and stop signs. If you would like to order a chevron or any decaling these are the steps: Step 1 - With a digital camera, take pictures of the rear of each apparatus you are looking to have retro-fitted with chevron striping. Do your best to take the picture as square as possible. Step 2 – Measure either the entire rear end, or a specific area in the picture such as a door, a bumper, or any square area on the rear of the vehicle. This measurement is used to scale your pictures in our software to actual size to ensure that the chevron panels will fit properly. Step 3 - Email us at sales@911depot.ca with the pictures, measurements and ideas. We will then proceed to make up some proofs and get them back to you for approval. We use only Reflexite materials. 3M diamond grades materials are not suited for cutting and require edge sealing which is very time consuming and makes the material prone to failure. |
